I have no recollection of these events other than celebrating July 4th with my family, and then finally returning to Juniata on July 9th.

Keep Austin Weird
June 28th, 2017
My friends Lucas, Zach, Cody, Matt, and I all left our cozy confines in Houston and departed towards the capital of Texas, Austin. Not many people in Texas like Austin unless they are from there, or very liberal. The only reason we ended up going was to go see the band Rise Against.
We left the city of Houston, as pictured below, and then went up to Austin. Before we checked in at the hotel we were staying overnight at, we stopped at a nice BBQ joint named the Salt Lick. I really enjoyed it, and so did the other guys, but the pecan pie was alright. We would totally go back for a meat eating festival. The restaurant even had a TARDIS!!
We then departed for the hotel and stayed there playing on Zach's Xbox One, where Zach managed to kick all our butts at Injustice 2. I then proceeded to take a nap until it was time to go to the concert.
We went to the Austin 360, and after seeing the first two starting bands, The first one was really bad, Thrice, the second band, was decent, Rise Against came on stage. We were all excited and then reached the disappointment that is age. The vocalist was getting old and his vocals were showing that. Lucas, a major fan of the band, was very deeply disappointed.
We skipped the Deftones, and went into downtown Austin to a hookah bar known as The Arab Cowboy. We stayed there and talked with each other about everything under the sun and moon, and swooned over our waitress, who was to the taste of all of us. We then left, got whataburger, and then returned to the hotel. Cody and Matt left home driving, but Lucas, Zach, and I got the 3 beds to ourselves.

June 29th, 2017
In the morning, we ate the really bad food given by the hotel in the morning, but the only upside was that the waffle maker was Texas shaped!
Zach left to Louisiana that morning after breakfast, so Lucas and I were the only ones left, and we went on the road to home. We stopped several times to look at various stores that we thought were interesting and took some fun pictures. I dare say, top hats look good on me.
