Thanksgiving Dinner!

November 25th, 2016

Of course, when the holiday season rolls around, you have to find some way to celebrate it, right?

What makes me glad, is that I was able to spend the evening with my classmates, and we had a potluck, with champagne, wine, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, a cheese plate, crackers, soda, some sort of apple desert, chicken, and rice pudding. We all brought what we could, but of course, the food isn't the biggest part of Thanksgiving, but more of a bonus. It's a time to come together, and be thankful for everything.

After a walk that essentially took me back to the University, and suffering with not wanting to spill the rice pudding (contents may have shifted during the flight), I arrived, and was welcomed as a guest into the Dorm of Tannah and Jacqui.

We proceeded to open a champagne bottle (pictures and video below), and then, when the cooking was finished, of course we went and ate. Everyone gave thanks to something important, while I joked and gave thanks for our Overlord Putin. We ended the night listening to christmas music and singing along to different songs.

WHAT A MARVELOUS MORNING! The one thing that would have made me happy with this year finally happened! Fidel Castro, former dictator of Cuba, IS DEAD. This pleases me so much. He was not the dictator, since stepping down in 2009, but his influence was still there, and maybe now, his weak willed brother Raul, will finally start a betterment in relations, and even begin to invoke democracy.

Please lord, thank you for this blessing, and make Cuba prosper. ¡VIVA CUBA LIBRE!
