I have started to run out of things to do and places to go. I have been lounging in Guzel's apartment for most of the day, before deciding to go out, and see a replica of a Tatar village. I went, and there wasn't much going on.
Leaving that small area, I went to the belltower, and finally went up. I called my mom, who got mad at me for calling so early in the morning to show her the view, and then had to descend because my fingers were hurting from being so frozen.

Today was my day to go see Lenin's house, because he apparently lived in Kazan for a year before being arrested. The museum itself was interesting, and the tour guide applauded my Russian accent. She said she knew I was foreign, but I didn't have a trace of an accent when I spoke. This made my day. Now, I hope she just wasn't being nice.
Later on this night, Guzel and I went to the Puppet theater, because there were some ice sculptures in front, and then we had some Tatar Blinis.

This day, I literally just stayed home. There was nothing to do, and I wasn't in the mood to leave. So as Guzel prepared the meal, I just played away at Minecraft on her couch, helping out every once in a while. I bought Chak-Chak for the trip home, and bough Talkish Kaleve, which is a cotton candy like treat, but so much better. We then went to go see Don Juan at the theater, and it was just amazing. Dinner with Leysan and Anton, me packing, and I went home. I just want to thank Guzel for letting me stay with her. I had an amazing time!
My adventures in Russia and the surrounding areas for the year. (The music can be paused at the bottom of the page. And the blog archive is right below this, so read everything!)
